The entire Top 5 are female solo artists and only two entries in the Top 10 this year are male. The largest amount of votes went to one song who’s repetitive chorus might just be stuck in your head through 2009 as well. These are the Top 10 songs of 2008 as voted by AHN readers.
3. “Disturbia” – Rihanna Rihanna’s biggest single of the year delved into darker territory and the pop princess took a stab at a “Thriller” of her own with a freaky video and performances.
9. “Live Your Life” – T.I. feat. Rihanna The smash “Dragostea Din Tei”-sampling hit became T.I.’s second #1 from “Paper Trail” and Rihanna’s fifth stint in the #1 position.
