Rosario Dawson, a best actress winner for her role in the film Seven Pounds, took the opportunity to speak out against domestic violence. “I’m on the board of V-Day which is about stopping violence against women and children. If anything good can come out of this, hopefully it’s that this conversation will come forward, because we should not tolerate that kind of behavior. There are no excuses for it at all. I’ve met Rihanna a few times, and she’s such a sweet young lady and definitely my heart goes out to her.” The full article is available at USAtoday.com.
