Several months after the release of her eight studio effort Anti, Rihanna is keeping busy with a new soundtrack cut called Sledgehammer, an original track for the space epic Star Trek Beyond.
The bad gal teased what she called the “1st ever IMAX music video” for the ballad on Twitter (June 28). In the 27-second snippet, Rih dons a baggy red ensemble against a cosmic backdrop as purple orbs appear at her fingertips.

Star Trek Beyond actors, Zachary Quinto and Zoe Saldana, praised the song after their 27-year-old co-star Yelchin passed away earlier this month in a car accident. “Thank you @badgalriri, for a beautiful song during one of the most difficult times for our StarTrek family,” Zaldana offered in an Instagram caption. “We know Anton would be proud.”

Star Trek Beyond lands in theaters on July 22 while the epic visual for “Sledgehammer” will hit Tidal and Vevo at 10 a.m. ET on Thursday, June 30.
