After offering fans a preview on Twitter earlier this month, Rihanna’s latest fragrance, called Rogue Love by Rihanna, will land next month. It joins Nude, Rogue and Rogue Men in her fragrance collection. The citrus-floral blend, developed by her licensee, Parlux Fragrances Ltd., is meant to evoke feelings of falling in love.
It opens with fruity notes of mandarin, berry and peach and settles into jasmine, coconut and vanilla. Rogue Love will be available in three sizes: 30 ml., 75 ml., and 125 ml., that will retail for $39, $49 and $69, respectively, and will be sold domestically as well as internationally. Industry sources estimate that the flanker could generate $5 million in retail sales in its first year on counter.
The peach-hued potion is housed in a glass bottle with rose-gold accents and a white, stingray-printed cap. Fashion photographer Mario Sorrenti shot the advertising campaign, which features a black-and-white portrait of the singer. Industry sources calculate the advertising and promotion budget to be between $2 million and $3 million.
