Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez and The Black Eyed Peas have all been tapped to perform at the newly comeback 2011 Billboard Music Awards. Other confirmed performers include Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, Taio Cruz and several others. It was officially announced previously that the 2011 Billboard Music Awards will air on ABC live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on May 22nd.
The ceremony will reflect Billboard’s chart rankings based on key fan interactions with music, including album, single and digital sales, touring, streaming and social interactions on MySpace, Facebook and other popular online destinations for music. Some of today’s high profile artists will recieve recognition in a variety of genres, including R&B, Rap, Pop, Country, Rock, Latin and Alternative.
