Attention Navy! Rihanna has new music and we could be hearing it very soon. Bad Gal RiRi hit the red carpet on Tuesday night, speaking with ET’s Sophie Schillaci about that leaked Lost Files tracklist and when fans can expect to get their hands on her next album. Rihanna told ET that her new album should be out “very soon.”

“That’s my hope,” she said. “I’m really excited about the music that we’ve been working on, so I can’t wait for people to hear it.”

While making the press rounds, Rih didn’t rule out the possibility of a surprise album drop but kept tight-lipped on her exact plans for release.
Rihanna stepped out on Tuesday night as MAC’s Viva Glam Cosmetics ambassador, showing her support in the fight against AIDS at the premiere of Andrew Jenks’ new documentary It’s Not Over.

“[I’m] very excited, very honored [to be here],” she said. “This is gonna be an amazing event for an amazing cause, an amazing film. This documentary, It’s Not Over, is really gonna be educational for the youth [with] what’s going on and how they’re affected by HIV/AIDS all over the world.”

The film, which premieres on Netflix and Pivot on Nov. 19, follows three young people from different corners of the world who are affected by HIV/AIDS.

“I think a lot of people from my generation, including myself, didn’t realize that the epidemic was in such a dire state,” filmmaker Jenks told ET. “So it was a great challenge to take on and then to be able to film all over the world and get to know all these different people — it’s important.”

MAC AIDS Fund chairman and group president John Demsey, who hit the red carpet alongside Rihanna, told ET that the “Pour It Up” singer is “the most successful MAC Viva Glam spokesperson the brand has ever had.” Added Nancy Mahon, MAC AIDS Fund global executive director:

“Young people listen to Rihanna. She’s a rock star… The bottom line is we need young people to watch this film and we need to create a movement, and she’s an incredible fuel in that movement.”

To wit: a Tuesday night tweet from @Rihanna had notched more than 2 million retweets and 2.9 million favorites at the time of publication.
