Chopard have announced a collaboration on a high jewelry collection with Rihanna alongside Chopard co-president and creative director. The collection called “Rihanna Loves Chopard” is set to launch at the Cannes Film Festival in May suggesting that Rihanna might be in attendance.
Pre-orders for the collection are already up on Chopard’s website. A range of luxury stores in the U.S will be selling her creations this month before an international rollout in June.
“Rihanna Loves Chopard” consists of nine pieces ranging from $1,460 to $11,140 (and beyond but price needs to be requested). There will be a limited number of pieces with only 2,000 editions per design making it an exclusive collection. A couple of days ago, a promotional image was surfaced and it was announced that Chopard is the Diamond Ball’s first presenting partner.
“Rihanna and I collaborated closely on the collections, so you can feel her unstoppable energy, strong creativity, and inherent sense of design in every piece,” Scheufele said in a statement. “With her unique style, she redefines the way people see and wear jewelry.”
For people who are interested, the collection is mostly made from 18-carat Fairmined-certified rose gold with features of ceramic (the first time Chopard incorporated it). It seems Rihanna loves making us broke time and time again!
