Rihanna is always very supportive of her friends and family. Her best friend Melissa Forde just launched her first bucket hat line ‘M$$ XWT’ in cooperation with Opening Ceremony And Rihanna attended the launch in New York City last night.

Melissa talked to The Fader recently about inspiration behind the line and how supportive Rihanna is.
“…But one of the reasons why Robyn [Rihanna’s first name] and I are still so close is that she is one of my biggest supporters. From the first time I even mentioned that Wale wanted me to do the hat line, she was pushing me to do it. She looked at every design with me—even when I did the lookbook shoot—and she recommended the female model that I ended up using. She’s so supportive.”
Melissa also said her next collection is amazing and that she is trying to do something like a little surprise, maybe a limited edition bucket with a matching backpack. We totally support Melissa and wish her success.
