Rihanna brought ample doses of star presence and hits to a capacity crowd of 15,400 at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit on Thursday night. Rihanna often seemed genuinely struck by the energy of the Detroit crowd, pausing several times to applaud the audience.
“I wish every night was like this,” she said midway through. “Y’all are so hyped right now — y’all just set the bar for the rest of the world.”
