Rihanna is continuing her reign as the Queen of singles sales in the United States. Now she has 124 million records sold as a solo artist. 44 of her singles went gold, 38 platinum and 30 are multi platinum.
Three of her songs got their certifications updated lately and among them one became platinum for the first time. Two of the records come from Rihanna’s multi platinum album ANTI and one from Unapologetic. Latest platinum updates:
- Desperado – 1x platinum
- Love On The Brain – 3x platinum
- Stay – 7x platinum
Six songs from ANTI are now at least platinum, including three with multi platinum status.
- Work – 6x platinum
- Needed Me – 5x platinum
- Love On The Brain – 3x platinum
- Sex With Me – 1x platinum
- Kiss It Better – 1x platinum
- Desperado – 1x platinum
Since RIAA has been updating their certifications a lot lately, I expect even more of these for Rihanna. Recently, her collaboration with Eminem Love The Way You Lie was certified 12x platinum.
