Rihanna rebranded Puma in ways that no one saw coming. She is amazing at mixing high fashion with sport gear and British Fashion Council seems to agree. Today the nominations for 2017 Fashion Awards were announced and Rihanna is nominated with her Fenty Puma brand in Urban Luxe Brand category. Rihanna is up against such designers and brands like Gosha Rubchinskiy and Vetements. British Fashion Council chairman Dame Natalie Massanet said in a release:
“These designers and brands were chosen from hundreds of international names and they represent the most creative talent and innovative businesses of the year. I am thrilled to be welcoming them to London on 4th December at the Royal Albert Hall to celebrate their incredible achievements, alongside industry friends from the world over.”

WWD APPAREL+RETAIL CEO SUMMIT
Tomorrow, October 24, Rihanna will attend WWD Apparel + Retail CEO Summit in New York. She is expected to talk about her Fenty x Puma clothing and shoe line, her beauty launch and other projects. The event will gather top leaders of fashion, retail and beauty’s industries.
