Rihanna’s been ruling global charts since the start of 2011, and now it seems like she is ruling over public media too. Her steaming hot Armani underwear adverts has been voted the best of 2011.

The daring display was hailed the best of the year in a poll of advertising industry chiefs carried out by U.S. magazine Advertising Age.

The magazine praised Rihanna, saying:

‘It’s Rihanna at her sexiest. She’s never looked this good, she’s in amazing shape and the pictures are stunning.’

Rihanna received an award from The Sun titled “Bizarre Lady of 2011″. Congrats RiRi. She received it at one of her shows in London’s O2 Arena. Editor of The Sun was quoted as saying :

I’ve had a lot of emails from punters saying I run too many pictures and stories about her. But it’s tough not to. Talent like this doesn’t come along often. On top of that, she’s a great laugh, modest and friendly, a blueprint of how big stars should be. She has an incredible future.

After her show of LOUD Tour on Tuesday, Rihanna was seen at McDonald’s, queuing for a burger, with 3 body guards. Reportedly the staff and the customers were not aware of who she was. Even after global success with over 100 million record sales, she proves to be a regular girl.

A Sun reader, who took our snap on Tuesday, said: “It was amazing to see one of the world’s biggest female stars queueing like everyone else. “I was the only one who realised it was her. She took her food, paid and slipped away — no one batted an eyelid.”

Last night, Rihanna wrapped up her almost 100 date LOUD Tour in London, O2 Arena, performing there for the 10th time. Rihanna managed to sell out the Arena 10 times, thus making her the first female artist to have 10 dates at the O2. She was awarded with an award in recognition of breaking the record for the most sell-out dates at the venue by a female artist.

Rihanna will have performed to more than 170,000 fans over 10 nights, beating Britney Spears who packed houses over eight nights in June, 2009, during her Circus world tour.

Sally Davies, events director at The O2, said:

‘We at The O2 felt that this amazing record could not pass unrecognised and as Rihanna has spent so much of her time in London at our venue, we wanted to give her something to remember us by. We hope to see her here again very soon.’

To Drake, Take Care is the story of a kid who goes from wide-eyed Toronto dreamer to rap royalty. But while Drizzy has painted that picture through songs on his sophomore set, the Young Money star hopes to roll out more visuals in support of the album’s narrative, and he has big plans for one video in particular.

We’ve already seen “Marvins Room” and “Headlines,” the Lil Wayne-assisted “The Motto” isalready in the can, and when MTV News caught up with him backstage at the Power 106Cali Christmas Concert, Drizzy Drake revealed he’s set to shoot a clip for the title track with Rihanna.

“It’s a project where I think visuals are called for, for a lot of those records,” he said. “So we’re working on definitely the ‘Take Care’ video, which we’re trying to get shot soon and a couple of other ones, too, off the album.”

With an eighth week atop the Billboard Hot 100 for “We Found Love,” featuring Calvin Harris, Rihanna links her longest command of the list.

The song’s reign bests the seven-week rules of two of her prior leaders: 2007′s “Umbrella,” featuring Jay-Z, and last year’s “Love the Way You Lie,” on which she assisted Eminem.

“Found” also takes over as the longest-leading No. 1 on the Hot 100 this year (just beating the buzzer, as this week’s Billboard charts are dated Dec. 31, 2011). The song had been tied with Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep” – the year’s No. 1 Hot 100 song – for the chart’s longest penthouse residence this year.
