Good News! Jonathan Ross has announced that Rihanna might be on his show in about 4-5 weeks. She is set to perform at the Grammy Awards and the BRIT Awards with Coldplay in February. We can easily say that a big month is coming!

The stars will be out in New Orleans on March 10 for Brad Pitt’s Make It Right charity event, which will raise funds to build sustainable, affordable homes for New Orleans’ families who lost everything to Hurricane Katrina.

Pitt and Ellen DeGeneres will host the event, which will feature performances by Rihanna, Sheryl Crow, the Neville Brothers and Seal. Host Committee members for the event include Djimon Hounsou, Spike Lee, Blake Lively, Bennett Miller, Chris and Jada Paul, Sean Penn and Kevin Spacey. Randy Jackson and Wendell Pierce will co-host the performance event. Parks and Recreation star Aziz Ansari will host the after-party.

The charity gala at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans will not only raise funds for Hurricane Katrina victims, but will also promote Make It Right’s work to provide sustainable housing in Newark, NJ and Kansas City, MO for disabled veterans and disadvantaged communities.

The show will celebrate the extraordinary talent and creativity in the British fashion scene. With Rihanna, a fashion icon herself, and Nicola, who created her own Dainty Doll make-up range, at the helm, the show will recognise the increasing influence popstars have on mainstream trends.

With her world-class reputation and passion for style, Rihanna is perfectly placed to find an aspiring designer worthy of the chance to break into the hugely competitive world of fashion. Tasking Nicola with fronting the search, Rihanna will be heavily responsible for casting and will be involved in editing post-production.

Rihanna – who has sold 20 million albums – will also be hands-on as the programme showcases Britain’s most promising fashion designers. Over ten weeks the unknown designers will be challenged by Rihanna and Nicola to create outfits for a string of musicians and celebrities.

Rihanna loves tattoos. She tweeted some photos of her at a tattoo parlor. Our girl was getting a tattoo on her back but she also tweeted a picture of ‘Thug Life’ written on her knuckles. Rihanna may be piping albums out at a rapid pace, considering she hasn’t taken a break in years, but that formula is working out for her in the UK. According to the Official Charts Company, Rihanna not only has three top selling R&B/Hip Hop Singles of 2011 but the year’s best selling R&B/Hip Hop albums overall.

Revealing the final R&B/Hip Hop Songs tally Friday, the OCC places Rihanna’s “Only Girl (In The World)” (no.19), “What’s My Name ?” (no.11) and “S&M” in the top 20. The latter, “S&M,” ends up being her best selling single, coming in just behind “On The Floor” by Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull at no.2.

This distinction for Rihanna isn’t necessarily surprising, considering her recent 2 billion views accumulated on Vevo and the success of “We Found Love”. As such, Rihanna’s “Loud” and “Talk That Talk” have been branded the top selling R&B/Hip Hop Albums of 2011, respectively.

Great news! A lot of people have been praying for ‘Princess of China’ performance at any award show since the premiere of the song in 2011. Coldplay and Rihanna have chosen the best one – Grammy Awards. Rihanna shared the news with her fans on Twitter yesterday:

The 54th Grammy Awards will be held on February 12, 2012 at the Staples Center.

She is the only artists to have so many songs with over 3 million digital sales.
