After peaking at #4 on iTunes as a non-single, the duet between Coldplay & Rihanna was announced as the third single from “Mylo Xyloto”. And now it’s time for some live performances. There were rumours for the past months that Coldplay & Rihanna will perform together at the Brit Awards this year, but no one can really confirm it. In the meantime, Rihanna reveals she would love to perform with the band, saying:

I think Chris Martin is a special guy. His songwriting is just beautiful and I am a huge fan. If they want me to sing with Coldplay, I will be waiting for the call. I’d love to perform with them.

This year’s Brit Awards will take place at the O2 Arena on February 21.

To Drake, Take Care is the story of a kid who goes from wide-eyed Toronto dreamer to rap royalty. But while Drizzy has painted that picture through songs on his sophomore set, the Young Money star hopes to roll out more visuals in support of the album’s narrative, and he has big plans for one video in particular.

We’ve already seen “Marvins Room” and “Headlines,” the Lil Wayne-assisted “The Motto” isalready in the can, and when MTV News caught up with him backstage at the Power 106Cali Christmas Concert, Drizzy Drake revealed he’s set to shoot a clip for the title track with Rihanna.

“It’s a project where I think visuals are called for, for a lot of those records,” he said. “So we’re working on definitely the ‘Take Care’ video, which we’re trying to get shot soon and a couple of other ones, too, off the album.”

Jay-Z is the guest collaborator on Talk That Talk

The mystery guest on Rihanna’s new album has been unveiled. Jay-Z is re-teaming with his protégé for a collaboration on her new album Talk That Talk.

Producer Stargate revealed to Norwegian website 730.no that Jay-Z appears on the title track to Rihanna’s sixth album.

“This is the first time we do a song with Jay-Z and Rihanna together. Actually it’s the first time Jay does anything on our beats,” said Tor Erik Hermansen, one half of the hitmaking duo.” It was about time. ‘Talk That Talk’ is a mid-tempo banger with hard drums, dirty synths, and Rihanna and Jay at their best. We are very happy with the song and Jay’s verse is crazy—same with Rihanna’s part.”

Jay-Z and Rihanna have worked together several times in the past, most notably on their chart-topping singles “Umbrella” and “Run This Town.”

The hip-hop superstar is the only guest on the album, due November 21

One feature on the album! And we got the best!!!!!

Drake is getting a hand from his superstar friends on his sophomore album Take Care. Despite initially wanting to keep features to a minimum, the Canadian superstar couldn’t turn down guest spots from Rihanna, André 3000, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, The Weeknd, and Lil Wayne, who fill out the 19 tracks.

Drake’s Young Money sister spits a verse on the current single “Make Me Proud,” while Weezy makes three appearances. After Drizzy’s contribution to her No. 1 single “What’s My Name?” Rihanna returns the favor by adding her vocals to the title track. And Drake’s quest to get André 3000 on a record appears to have finally worked out. The OutKast member joins him and Wayne on “The Real Her.”

The ‘Teenage Dream’ star said she was hopeful that the duet would come off in the future, but only if the song was right.

“I hope so, one of these days,” she told Capital FM’s Showbiz reporter Kevin Hughes when asked about her plans to work with Rihanna.

“But the thing is we’re not just going to cash in on that idea unless it’s bulletproof, because you really only get one shot at that.”

Katy added: “We’re friends above and beyond all the other stuff, so if we’re going to work together it has to be dynamite.”

Meanwhile, Katy also said she was a big fan of Rihanna’s new video ‘We Found Love’.

She said Rihanna had shown a “really honest side” with the video for the first single off her new album ‘Talk That Talk’.

Do you think we would get to hear a collabo soon?
