After peaking at #4 on iTunes as a non-single, the duet between Coldplay & Rihanna was announced as the third single from “Mylo Xyloto”. And now it’s time for some live performances. There were rumours for the past months that Coldplay & Rihanna will perform together at the Brit Awards this year, but no one can really confirm it. In the meantime, Rihanna reveals she would love to perform with the band, saying:

I think Chris Martin is a special guy. His songwriting is just beautiful and I am a huge fan. If they want me to sing with Coldplay, I will be waiting for the call. I’d love to perform with them.

This year’s Brit Awards will take place at the O2 Arena on February 21.

Fantastic news Rihanna Navy! Rihanna has recieved 4 nominations for the 54th Grammy Awards to be held next year. Rihanna has been nominated in the following categories:

• “Album Of The Year” (LOUD)
• “Song Of The Year” (All of the Lights)
• “Best Pop Vocal Album” (LOUD)
• “Best Rap Sung Collaboration” (What’s My Name?, All of The Lights)

We’re not sure if ‘Song of the Year’ category counts for Rihanna. The 54th Annual Grammy Awards will be handed out live February 12, 2012 at 8 PM ET on CBS.

The nominations for the Virgin Media Music Awards were revealed recently, and our princess have received 4 nominations in the following categories :

• Better collaboration with Nicki Minaj (vote here ) 
• Best clip, with “S & M” (vote here )

Making for quite the star-studded spectacle, the 2011 American Music Awards took place at Nokia Theatre LA Live in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday night (November 20). Rihanna wasn’t able to attend the show because she performed on UK X Factor. Anyway, Rihanna was nominated in 3 categories and won one award in Soul/R&B Album category.

Yesterday the nominations for People’s Choice Awards 2012 were announced and our girl is nominated in 2 categories. She is nominated in “Favourite R&B Artist” category along with Beyonce, Chris Brown, Bruno Mars & Ne-Yo. She is also nominated in the category “Favourite Pop Artist” along with Beyonce, Demi Lovato, Katy Perry & Lady Gaga.

It’s almost time for the 2011 MTV EMAs, with Rihanna scoring one nomination in ‘Best Pop Artist’ category. Britney Spears, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga are nominated in this category with Rihanna.
