In her recent interview with Glamour Zendaya was asked about her approach to red carpet fashion. In her answer she mentioned Rihanna and how she loves her fearless attitude and the fact you can see she always dresses for herself and does not care what anyone thinks.
“I think it’s the same thing. A huge part of my gaining confidence is because of fashion. What I love about someone like Rihanna is her fearlessness. It’s almost a sense of, pardon my language, I don’t give a fuck. When she wears a dress, it’s for herself, and you can see that. There’s something to be said for the fact that literally everybody can hate my outfit, but if I feel good in it, I’m the only one that should matter.”
In May, Zendaya attended the Spider-Man: Homecoming Madrid photocall in Rihanna x Manolo pumps she received from RiRi a year before.
“I told my mutha Ri I would slay in her Manolo pumps one day, I’ve been preparing for this day, I would never let her down.”
