Rihanna’s eight studio album is now available for streaming on Tidal. After 3 years of waiting we finally got the chance to listen to the new album and all we can say is: IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT.
The album will be available to stream for all Tidal subscribers, and there will be a limited (but fairly high) number of complementary downloads available of the album that will be first-come, first-serve, regardless of whether a listener is a Tidal subscriber or not. To get a code that’s good for one free download, fans will have to work their way through all eight rooms featured on ANTIdiaRY.com – the digital experience created by the singer in partnership with Samsung. The first seven rooms show how Rihanna became the star that she is from the very beginning until today, while the final room, which will remain unlocked until just after midnight, features access her new album.
And when you thought you couldn’t love Rihanna more, she tweeted this:
The album consists of thirteen tracks, but not the ones you know well. Initial ANTI cuts “FourFiveSeconds”, “Bitch Better Have My Money”, and “American Oxygen” aren’t included in the thirteen tracks on the standard edition, and there is a deluxe edition with three additional songs coming on Friday.
The album came with the opening of the final room on ANTIdiaRy.com:
