International superstar Rihanna will perform during the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Azerbaijan 2012. Rihanna will perform during the quarter-final match on 5 October at 19:30 local time at the Tofig Bahramov Stadium.
Match tickets can be purchased from 10 July, following the 6 July Official Draw Ceremony, which will take place at the International Mugam Centre in Baku, Azerbaijan. Ticket locations are the Park Bulvar and Metro Park shopping malls, Xalq Bank Neftchilar branch, as well as the Bakcell customer service centre located on 83 Nizami street.
The tournament will take place in Baku and Lankaran from 22 September-13 October. Participating teams are Azerbaijan, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, China PR, Gambia, Ghana, Japan, Korea DPR, Mexico, New Zealand, Nigeria, Uruguay, and USA. The remaining two teams from Europe will be determined between 26-29 June.
Shakira is also to perform in Azerbaijan during the final match of the tournament.
