Rihanna to play benefit for tornado relief efforts

Music superstar Rihanna is coming to Birmingham next month to perform a concert aiding tornado rebuilding efforts in Birmingham and Tuscaloosa.  The star just tweeted:

“I just added an ALABAMA TOUR DATE TO LOUD TOUR…Monday, July 11th!!! This Concert Will Benefit Tornado Relief Efforts.”

Rihanna has sold more than 30 million records, including hits “Umbrella,” “Take a Bow,” “Run This Town,” “What’s My Name?” and “S&M.” Ticket prices range from $15 to $49 and will go on sale at 9 a.m. CT Thursday at ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com.
